My work

PR is all about getting a message across and telling a good story, but this is only really worth anything if the right results are achieved.

So what have I achieved and could I do the same for your business?

Well, one of my case studies is shown here – but to get the full picture, please request my creds document below.

Under the employment of: Mark Group Ltd
Role:                                             In house PR
Campaign:                                  US office launch

The brief: Energy saving business Mark Group was looking to expand internationally and had identified a new market in North America. An office location had been found in Philadelphia and a start up team appointed, so the next step was to launch.

The solution: This was a brand new challenge for me – combining all the elements of a press launch with transatlantic communication. I managed everything from strategy to timings, event planning to marketing materials, speech writing to media briefings. A highlight of the launch was to be Pennsylvania State Governor Ed Rendell and Philadelphia City Mayor Michael Nutter’s attendance. This was not only a great privilege for Mark Group, but added a huge boost to the media interest for the launch.

The results: Over 200 VIPs gathered to hear the Governor and Mayor address Philadelphia’s media. Fox TV and ABC competed for the best positions, while 40 other media outlets from both sides of the Atlantic scooped the story. Following the launch, I continued to build international media relations for Mark Group – securing a visit from a New York Times journalist to the company headquarters and Training Academy in the UK.
